The church is a protective haven for all who come to it, and our mutual ministry of caring for our children and our community in the light of Christ will always be our first priority. Therefore, the Vestry has adopted a Safeguarding God’s Children policy that delineates specific guidelines for nursery care provided by All Saints’ Episcopal Church.
Your pledge of financial support allows us to offer the paid, professional services of "The Arizona Lullaby Guild." This organization has been providing childcare services in Arizona since 1961. "The Arizona Lullaby Guild" is state licensed and bonded with each member having undergone national background checks. Each nursery care giver is trained in first aid, child and infant CPR, and has had the Safeguarding God’s Children training required by the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. The "Arizona Lullaby Guild" provides a core group of primary caregivers to maintain a high adult-to-child ratio. No volunteers are used in the nursery, and only parents who drop off their child(ren) are permitted to pick up their child(ren).
The nursery is exclusively for infants and toddlers. Once a child has been potty-trained, they are welcome to participate in Sunday School and to worship in church with their parents.
Cristina Hatton, our Director of Children & Families at 602-279-5539 x116 or chatton@allsaints.org, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the rules or regulations.
